Abstract:

In this paper, we present a nonlinear parametric method to stabilize descriptor frac-tional discrete-time linear system practically. Parametric methods with the free parameters can be adjusted to obtain better performance responses like minimum norm in state feedback. The aim is assigning desirable eigenvalues to obtain sat-isfactory responses by forward state feedback and forward and propositional state feedback in new systems with large matrices. However, , nding the solution to non-linear parametric equations makes some errors. In partial eigenvalue assignment, just a part of the open-loop spectrum of the standard linear systems is reassigned, while leaving the rest of the spectrum invariant. The size of matrices, state, and input vectors are decreased and the stability is kept. At the end, summary and con-clusions are proposed and the convergence of state vectors in the descriptor fractional discrete-time system to zero is also shown by , gures in a numerical example. Our method is also compared with another method with one of orthogonality relations in our article and example.

Abstract:

The vitality of teacher response to students' writing is not only undeniable (Ferris, Pezone, Tade & Tini, 1997) but also as Coffin et al. (2003) believe, is a central pedagogic practice. Despite the existence of studies in the area of written teacher commentary (Bowen, Madsen, & Hilferty, 1985; Cohen, 1987; Doff, 1990; Fathman & Whalley, 1985; Ferris, 2002; Frodesen, 2001; Rieken, 1991; Zamel, 1985), there are still doubts about the most effective types of teacher feedback. The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of three most prevalent error treatment techniques directive (explicit), partial (researchers’ terminology), and general feedback. To accomplish the expected goal, three groups of female students with intermediate level of proficiency were selected and the written errors of each group were treated according to one of the feedback techniques during the course of study. The analysis of the students' scores revealed that students receiving the directive feedback, improved significantly in comparison with those in the other two groups.

Abstract:

High gain Balun-low-noise-amplifier (LNA) is proposed for tuner of digital televisions (DTVs). The proposed Balun-LNA is based on CS-CG (common-source-common-gate) structure. To improve the isolasion and frequency response, Balun-LNA has cascode transistors before load resistors. Balun-LNA uses current-bleeding circuit to increasie transconductance of CS transistor, so that current-bleeding transistor has transconductance of N-1 times larger than transconductance of cascode transistor. Thereby, transconductance and current of CS transistor are increased N times, as N-1 times of current pass to current-bleeding transistor. Therefore current of CG and CS stages stay identical. Also, Balun-LNA employs a positive feedback to satisfy input impedance matching and CG transistor has higher transconductance. By increasing transconductance of CS and CG transistors, the proposed Balun-LNA achieves to high voltage gain. Accordingly, CG and CS tansistors have symmetrical currents and loads at the differential output of the proposed Balun-LNA. Symmetrical loads cause the balanced differential outputs. This proposed Balun-LNA is designed in 90-nm CMOS technology and covers the frequency range of 40 MHz to 1GHz. This Balun-LNA achieves the voltage gain of 22.6 dB, S11 of less than -10 dB and the Minimum NF of 5 dB. This Balun-LNA operates at the nominal supply voltage of 2.2v.

Abstract:

2Deficit irrigation is one of the irrigation management methods that is used to increase Water Use Efficiency. Considering the internal plant adaptability characteristic to water shortage, partial Root Drying method has been introduced in recent years. In this field research improvement of Water Use Efficiency for Soybean was determined. This experiment which was conducted at four furrow irrigation treatments at the Research Field of Tehran University in Karaj in 2008, consists of full irrigation (100% soil moisture deficit compensation), conventional deficit irrigation at 50 and 75 percent soil moisture deficit compensation and partial Root Drying at 50 percent soil moisture deficit compensation with three replications. The amounts of irrigation used were exactly compensation level (negligible loss). Results indicated that Water Use Efficiency according to Duncan's Multiple Range Test at the five percent level of probability there was a significant difference between partial root drying treatment (PRD50%) and conventional deficit irrigation treatment at fifty percent soil moisture deficit compensation (DI50%),. Water Use Efficiency in PRD50% compared with DI50%, DI75% and full irrigation increased by 48.3%, 61.9% and 70.1% respectively.

Abstract:

Considering the incidence of pilonidal sinus and its relapse following routine procedures and for making a comparison between the partial closure and open methods, this study was performed on referrals of Shaheed Modarres hospital during the years 1998-1999. The clinical trial strategy of this study was performed on 48 patients. They were randomly divided into two control and case groups. For control group, the open method and routine procedures and for control group, an outpatient method and local anesthetics were applied. For the latter, the cyst (sinus) was removed and stitched by silk thread # 0. This method not only prevented hemorrhage, but also produced an operation area of less extent and less supporation and its treating is easier. After 5 days, the granulation tissue was formed and the sutures were removed. This procedure is a modified and converted form of open method and is accompanied with less infection and relapse (a modification to Dives method). Control group (n=24, 20 males and 4 females) consisted of patients at an average age of 27 years (from 18 to 36 years) and case group included 24 patients (22 males and 2 females) at an average age of 31 years (from 16 to 45 years). In both groups, the sinuses were similar regarding type and dimension. The wound extent in control group was from 15 to 25 mm and in the case group was from 12 to 18 mm. In addition, both of them did not show hemorrhage, one patient in control group had infection, and wound healing in control and case groups observed after 45 :t 5 and 25 :t 5 days respectively. It is concluded that partial closure method has less complications in the treatment of patients with pilonidal sinus.

Abstract:

We consider control systems with some unknown parameters. The aim is to stabilize the considered system with respect to a part of the variables while the other phase variables stay bounded through an auxiliary system by applying a parameter adaptation using a tuning function. Limit systems and some bifurcations phenomena are briefly discussed.
